Awareness

Our community thrives on the beauty of diversity and the power of music to bring us together. In celebration of every individual's unique identity, we wholeheartedly embrace and respect everyone regardless of race, religion, colour, creed and sexual orientation. Our collective is a sanctuary where acceptance is the melody, and love is the rhythm.

To ensure our events remain a safe haven for creativity, expression, and unity, we've established a dedicated Awareness Team. This team is here to offer support, guidance, and assistance, ensuring every experience within our collective is positive and empowering. Should you ever need a hand or a listening ear, they are here for you, safeguarding our shared values of respect and kindness.

In our realm, diversity fuels the rhythm, and unity amplifies the bass. Greynote is a sanctuary for every soul yearning for connection through sound. Our beats are bold, our arms open.
Our dedicated Awareness Team is the backbone of our collective's harmony, ensuring every moment with us is safe, empowering, and transcendent. Need a guide through our sonic labyrinth? We're here, with beats and open hearts.

Manifesto

Greynote is a collective of independent artists from Graz, Austria, dedicated to the promotion of underrepresented, off-mainstream bass music genres, as well as the awareness and low-threshold access to club culture.

The art-loving and art-creating members of the association work intensively on the presentation of musical and visual elements, bringing their experience in areas such as media and communication design, photography and video installation, as well as music production to the project. The development of the local club culture and the expansion of the presence of the Austrian alternative cultural scene in cooperation with other collectives and associations in Graz, in order to profit from the diversity of different perspectives and to enrich each other, is strongly anchored in the organisation's self-image.

In addition, by booking national and international acts, the focus is on promoting regional subcultures and offering the Graz audience a broad spectrum of electronic music subgenres. Our common goal is to ensure fair and equal promotion of local musicians and cultural exchange between artists, and to establish our cultural association as a springboard for young creatives and musicians by creating a communication platform for networking with our events and offering them the opportunity to perform under the collective label Greynote.
